Jo had an integral part in shaping the story of her episode during her time on Call The Midwife. There was one particular story which was the backbone of the episode and Jo’s research and attention to detail made the story completely come to life. Her contribution to the cinematography, sound and also the editing made the episode stand out. She herself stood above other directors on the series as she was able to bring a fresh perspective. Jo’s individual style and her ability to draw passion from the actors made a truly stand alone episode within the series.
