I am an innovative, performance-led storyteller working across television, film, games and emerging technology. Trained in the fast-paced environment of continuing drama—where I have directed up to 21 pages a day while consistently delivering on schedule—I bring a calm, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to every production. I am always open to new ideas and technologies, seeking the most creative and efficient way to tell stories that feel authentic, emotionally resonant and impactful for their chosen format.

My work is grounded in human-led, emotionally driven storytelling, often exploring societal systems, environmental responsibility, technology and structures of power through a distinctly female lens. In 2026, I was selected for the Genre Voices at Cannes showcase, which champions projects with a strong creative identity, international market potential and a meaningful contribution to the evolving genre landscape. At Cannes, I also participated in conversations about the role and visibility of women in genre cinema. 

I am passionate about actors and creating a supportive environment in which talent can take risks. My experience spans emerging and established performers, from directing India Mullen in Deirdre to Jenny Agutter in Call the Midwife.

Being mentored by Jon East on Killing Eve and Jennie Darnell on Trigger Point was transformative for my career. Their generosity reinforced my belief in the importance of creating pathways for others, and I now mentoring the brilliant deaf actor-director Jude Powell as part of my wider commitment to greater inclusion, access and representation within the screen industries.

Most recently, I wrote and directed my first AI film, The Unknown, continuing my exploration of how new technology can support bold visual storytelling while keeping human creativity, emotion and authorship at its heart.
